My family and I have lived in the High Country for over 25 years and love it here! We reside in a community that supports its members. In 2012, we lost our home to a fire. The outpouring of support was unlike anything we had ever experienced. That level of care and support inspires my desire to serve others. Helping others fuels my life.

I am a two-time Appalachian State University alumna with a B.S. in communication/public relations and a master's in higher education administration. I also worked at the university for over 20 years before retiring in 2021. The university still plays a significant role in my life.

During my time at App, I was given numerous opportunities to give back to communities near and far.  I've embraced these opportunities and continue to serve in areas that I believe contribute most effectively and compassionately to the well-being of people and the organizations that support them. This is why I am a proud board member of High Country United Way and Oasis Inc.

I became a Realtor because I understand that a home is where we establish life's foundations. Homeownership sets the framework for realizing our dreams and developing healthy communities. I love what I do!
